We always try at SBB to provide valuable content and resources that will be useful to our subscribers.
Scotland is awash with a brilliant and diverse range of SME businesses. If you want to target these businesses then Scottish Business Blog is the perfect platform for you to this.
How can I help?
We want to hear from people and businesses who are experts in their field and want to share this with the wider SME community throughout Scotland. Submitting articles and resources and collaborating with SBB is a great way of reaching prospective clients and partners and is a great way of showcasing your expertise.
Guidelines
- Typical post length for articles are 300-500 words in length. If you find that you want to write something with a higher post count then we normally suggest that we turn these into a smaller series of posts which we find works much better.
- We ask that articles submitted are UNIQUE (and remain so) and have not been posted anywhere else on the internet. This includes your own website or blog.
- We allow two links in the byline of the article. This will be displayed at the bottom of each post.
Please get in touch with us to discuss your content ideas ![]()

Hello:
I’d be really interested in contributing a blog. I am a semi – retired business consultant and am now working with some sme’s largely just to keep my self involved and stimulated.
I am genuinely keen to pass on expertise and ideas to help sme’s in Scotland and although I do not have a lot of blogging expertise I’d love to get involved.
Kind Regards
Robbie
Hi Robbie,
I’d be more than happy to allow you to contribute. Drop me an email through the contact form with a note of what subjects you feel you could write on and between us we can come up with ideas for some interesting posts!
Hi Barry – we post various HR related articles aimed at helping business owners/managers on our o=blog but would be happy to contribute additional content exclusively for your blog/forum.
Hi Gary,
Would be more than happy to accept some articles. HR is an area that’s very important to SME’s so any expert advice would be much appreciated.
I would be interested in contributing also.
Regards,
Stephen Stormonth
